Being a self-educated organic gardener did not stop me from taking formal organic course at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College. I now have a Certificate of Specialization in Organic Agriculture including horticulture, livestock and composting.

My garden contains vegetables, mostly heirlooms. Prime interest is in tomatoes varieties and seed trading.

I am also a board member of the Annapolis Valley Chapter of the Nova scotia Brain Injury Association. Further activities include Toastmasters, fly fishing, fly tying, stamp collecting, calligraphy and mountain biking.
